Having missed the Adobe Usergroup Belgium BBQ event because of delays at the airport, I wasn’t planning to miss this “Flash 2000″ meeting. Me, David & Sakri raced to Antwerp’s latest event, Organized by Mr. Henry.

And I must say, great event guys! :D Free drinks, free snacks, free entrance, great couches & speakers coming all the way from Russia en Poland for 20 minute sessions? Unbelievable relaxed atmosphere… Thanks a lot Bartekd with the 3d session, Eugene of Inspirit for his image processing session & Bram Plessers of Mr. Henry for the quick Ruby on Rails, Flex – Restfulx session.

It was very nice talking to you Eugene, hope all goes well with your future endeavours, and I think we all hope to see you soon on another event somewhere in Europe! FOTB 2010 maybe? :D

Also, this Sunday, the Nascom flashteam is leaving for Brighton (UK). 4 days of Flash On The Beach! It will kick start some new innovative ideas. And we’ll surely meet up again with Bartekd for his elevator pitch at FOTB. ;)

If some of you were still doubting if the new Flash hunting season has started by now…

…well, head-hunters start calling us now in the office at Nascom? Apparently “Harvey Nash” was curious if I, or any other of my dearest collegues were  interested in switching jobs. They got to know “viavia” that “I was good at Tridion and Flash dev.” When I asked who is “viavia“?  “Eh….sorry I can’t tell you, we promised confidentiality.”
