After I implemented the Flash Platform Ditribution Service into my Flex 4 web application at the Rive.be CMS Share Page. I decided to try it on to a pure Actionscript 3 project. Visit http://www.rive.be and click the Share button in the bottom right side of your screen.
Everything works out just great (try it out):
- Post an embedded preview into Facebook, Live Spaces, iGoogle, etc.
- Share a link in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Email the link to any of your Gmail, MSN, Hotmail, etc. contacts with a predefined message.
It’s so nice to see live tracking data arriving in the Distribution Manager AIR application (click the install badge on the right). Seeing how many times people shared, viewed and on which platform.
I did turn off all animation in the Gigya widget, because the Gigya service is really slow as it is, if the animation kicks in, it’s just plain horrible. The widget was generated with the free Distribution Manager AIR application.
Didn’t want to use the Flash CS4 Professional Extension or the Flex 3 plugin, as I’m using Flash Builder 4 beta for my projects, I had to use the AIR app.
